Chevy and Lace

This old Chevy was surrounded by overgrowth. The Queen Anne's Lace looked as if it was purposely placed as little accessories on the car. I painted this same car during the 2009 Door County Plein Air Festival from a different angle and farther away. I decided this year I liked it so much that I wanted to try it again...this time closer, cropped in and from the opposite direction. It rained off and on all day this day...when wet, the car looked shiny and new. The car was dry when I started so it was challenging to pull this one off!
