This was sunrise on the first morning of the 2010 Door County Plein Air Festival in Wisconsin. The drive over to Rowley's Bay at 4:45 am was foggy so I wasn't anticipating a nice paintable sunrise, but as you can see about 5:45 am, the sun popped from between the fog and cloud layers and it was spectacular. Had to work very quickly to capture this one!
