Painted during the 2019 Door County Plein Air Festival. I was drawn to the wonderful light on the barn and the contrast of the bright red against the bright green. A bonus was the field of wildflowers between me and the barn. I was surrounded by butterflies the entire time I painted...heavenly! This piece was accepted into the 2020 Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition.
