The Rolling Sea

This was painted on location on the beach at Asilomar, along 17 Mile Drive on the Monterey Peninsula in California. The wind was pretty brutal for painting, but the rolling ocean and crashing waves made it very much worth withstanding the wind! I loved the beautiful colors in the ocean...it just took my breath away...

This one will stay in my personal collection...I'll keep this one for the color reference, and for the wonderful memory of being there...
